Statement from NHGOP Chairman on the WMUR US Senate Debate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

karina@nhrsc.com

CONCORD, N.H. — Tonight, WMUR hosted the “Granite State Debate” between U.S. Senate nominees John E. Sununu and Chris Pappas. New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Scott Maltzie released the following statement:

“This is the debate everyone has been waiting for, and it exposed what we have known all along,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie. “John E. Sununu is ready to fight for all of us, while Chris Pappas has spent years in Congress with little to show for it. Instead of delivering results for New Hampshire, he has supported policies that drive up costs. Granite Staters should not reward that record with a promotion to the U.S. Senate. The choice could not be clearer. New Hampshire needs a senator who will put our state first, and John E. Sununu is ready to deliver.”
